Real estate transaction: mastering the legal and tax aspects of the acquisition of a property

HEC Liège offers a series of seminars for lawyers, notaries, company directors, accountants, tax advisors, etc. as part of its staggered timetable of courses. In this context, EY Law, together with EY Tax Liege, is organising a seminar entitled “Real estate transaction: mastering the legal and tax aspects of the acquisition of a property”.

This seminar will provide details of the legal and tax issues involved in structuring the acquisition of a property, whether it is an asset deal, a share deal or other transaction structures (usufruct, long lease or building lease).

The tax consequences associated with the various options for acquiring, managing and disposing of real estate assets will be highlighted in relation to the legal framework and practice, including the advisability of securing these transactions by way of a ruling.

The different types of investment vehicles will also be discussed.
