New Royal Decree extending the validity of the various provisions on corporations and associations in the context of the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic until June 30, 2020

On April 28, 2020 a new Royal Decree was published in the Belgian Official Journal which extends the validity of the earlier Royal Decree nr. 4 of April 9, 2020 from May 3, 2020 until June 30, 2020.
The measures, which were initially limited in time until May 3, 2020, will thus remain valid until June 30, 2020.

We refer to our earlier news flash which contains an overview of the various measures: https://www.eylaw.be/2020/04/12/new-royal-decree-containing-various-provisions-on-corporations-and-associations-in-the-context-of-the-fight-against-the-covid-19-pandemic/

From a timing perspective, this extension entails that e.g. a shareholders’ meeting or a board meeting, convened before June 30, 2020 , but held after this end date, may be held in accordance with the provisions of this RD.
