The M&A teams of EY Law (Tom Swinnen, Adrien Faelli and Albane Chevalier) and EY (Frank Lapeirre (financial due diligence) and Erik Suijs (tax due diligence)), successfully assisted the Danish DOLLE in relation to the acquisition of SOGEM, a Walloon based family-owned company.

SOGEM is a Belgian company founded in 1987 and headquartered in Charleroi. It is featured amongst the top European distributors and manufacturers of staircases. With this acquisition, DOLLE, already present on the same market, increases its presence and visibility in Europe and especially in France and Belgium.

The transaction was closed on 8 April 2019.
