Wout mainly focuses on estate planning and the taxation of high net worth individuals. He strives to provide for practical and understandable solutions to the clients. Prior to joining EY Law, Wout completed his notarial apprenticeship in a large notary firm.

He combines his law practice with an academic career at KU Leuven (comparative law), UCLL (estate planning) and PXL (guest lecturer).
He has published numerous articles relating to estate planning.
Wout has a strong interest in professional athletes and sports players, who he also advices regularly.
