Virginie leads Ghent's Corporate department and co-leads the M&amp;A practice. She advises on share/asset deals, venture capital, joint ventures, buy-outs, restructuring, corporate governance, and corporate law.

She holds a Master in Laws degree from the University of Ghent (2007 – magna cum laude) and spent a semester at Hofstra University, New York, on an international exchange program. She followed a Corporate Finance Post-Graduate at KU Leuven in 2021.

Virginie is a lawyer and member of the Ghent Bar Association. Prior to joining EY Law in 2022, she gained over 15 years’ of experience at a top tier Benelux law firm and another Big 4 law firm in their Corporate M&amp;A departments. Virginie is a regular speaker at seminars and author of various articles.
