Stéphanie is an enthusiastic lawyer, committed to provide excellent client service. She is dedicated to assisting clients while handling a hands-on and solution-based approach.

Practice Area

Stéphanie is advising in corporate, commercial law and M&A.

She is also a dedicated member of EYnovation, an initiative launched by EY to support start-ups and scale-ups with solving legal, financial and strategic issues.

Professional experience

Stéphanie focuses on private M&A, private equity and corporate restructurings. She advises multinational and national clients in corporate and commercial law matters. Within EYnovation, Stéphanie assists start- and scale-ups in their angel and VC investment rounds.

Prior to joining EY Law in 2019, Stéphanie has gained experience while working on the corporate/M&A department of the Luxembourg office of a magic circle firm. Previously, Stéphanie completed several internships (in a local Belgian law firm, as well as an in-house internship in a software company). As from a young age, Stéphanie has also been involved in the family business, that has inspired her entrepreneurial spirit and commercial awareness.


Stéphanie holds a Master of Laws from the University of Ghent (cum laude), with an Erasmus exchange at the Università degli Studi di Firenze. In 2018, she obtained an additional Master in International Business Law and Management (magna cum laude) at the international ESCP Europe business school (Paris and London campuses), with a focus on corporate finance, financial engineering and M&A. Stéphanie is now finalizing an LL.M. in Banking and Finance Law at the Queen Mary University of London. She has also completed a summer school in European and financial law at the Barcelona-based ESADE business school. During her student career at the University of Ghent, Stéphanie has been a devoted member and president of her student association.

Additional Info

Stéphanie is a member of the Brussels bar as of October 2019. She is fluent in Dutch (native), English and French. She has notions (passive knowledge) of German as well as of Italian. In her spare time, Stéphanie enjoys running, golfing and playing tennis. She is currently also pursuing a PPL (private pilot training).
