Sophie is part of EY Law Belgium since October 2023. Her practice area includes assisting clients with the prevention as well as solutions regarding tax controversy. She focuses on indirect tax because of her previous experience as an indirect tax consultant, but she also assists in direct tax matters.
Additional information
Sophie obtained a master’s degree at the Catholic University of Leuven in 2019 and continued her studies by completing a specialized master in tax law at the University of Antwerp in 2021. She started her career at EY Belgium in September 2019 as a tax consultant where she was part of the indirect tax team for 4 years before joining EY Law Belgium. Sophie is admitted to the bar in Brussels as from October 2023.

Sophie’s native language is Dutch. She is also fluent in English and has a basic understanding of French.
