Saloua has more than 15 years of experience in tax law and company law. Saloua leads the Tax Controversy team within EY Law. This team advises and assists the taxpayer both proactively and reactively in all stages of the administrative procedure as well as in the legal proceedings before court. The team advises on the tax implications of all actions of the taxpayer with regard to both direct and indirect taxes, with particular attention to tax procedures.
Saloua has advised a large number of prominent national and international (listed) companies in the field of tax, and she has expertise in advice on different kind of tax aspects.
Saloua has been involved, amongst others, in the following matters:
- National and International taxation;
- Income tax;
- Registration and inheritance tax;
- Local taxes;
- Company law and cross-border restructuring.
Saloua holds a master's degree in law (University of Antwerp), a master's degree (GGS) in tax law (University of Antwerp) and a master's degree in corporate law (University of Leuven / Brussels). She has been admitted to the Dutch Brussels’ Bar in 2006.
Saloua was/is lecturer at Ghent University/ Artevelde College University of Applied Sciences where she teaches tax courses.
Saloua fluently speaks and understands Dutch, English and French.
