  • Jonathan has extensive experience in all kinds of corporate matters including M&A, venture capital transactions, capital markets, corporate (re)structuring, consortia and joint ventures, non-profit associations and foundations, corporate governance and general corporate and commercial matters and contracts, dealing with a variety of industry sectors, with a focus on M&A and (cross-border) restructurings. He also closely follows up on digital innovation and new technologies and the impact thereof on the legal landscape and regularly advises clients from the technology sector.
  Expertise area: Jonathan’s field of expertise includes advising on:
  • buy- or sell side mandates on both share deals and assets deals;
  • venture capital transactions;
  • shareholders’ agreements and joint ventures;
  • management buy-out transactions;
  • national and cross-border carve-out and restructuring transactions;
  • corporate governance matters;
  • general corporate law advisory work.
  Additional information:   Jonathan is a lawyer and member of the Brussels’ Bar Association. He holds a Master of Laws (Universiteit Gent) and did an LL.M. in International Business Law (Universiteit Tilburg). In addition, he also obtained an advanced master in corporate law (Katholieke Universiteit Leuven). He was also for several years affiliated with the Institute for European Law of the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven where he was active as a teaching fellow. Jonathan has 10 years of experience. Prior to joining EY Law, he worked with the Corporate / M&A department of a leading Belgian law firm and another Big 4 law firm.
