Practice focused on corporate income tax matters, including domestic and cross-border reorganisations, withholding tax aspects, permanent establishment issues, tax aspects of mergers, demergers and acquisitions, and disputes with the tax authorities

Hicham holds a Master’s degree in Social and Economic Law and a Master’s degree in Tax Law, both from the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB).

Hicham began his career as a tax lawyer in October 2023 at a niche law firm focusing exclusively on tax matters, before joining EY Law in February 2026
