Practice area

Daan is a Junior Associate in Corporate M&A, based in the Ghent office of EY Law Belgium. He focuses on a variety of corporate and transaction law matters and provides assistance to both national and international clients. Daan has experience in the following areas:

• Mergers and acquisitions (M&A)
• General corporate law matters
• Contract drafting
• National and cross-border reorganizations

Education

Daan holds a Master of Laws degree from the University of Ghent (2023 – Cum Laude). He spent a semester studying at Hofstra University in New York as part of an international exchange program. Prior to joining EY Law, Daan completed internships at a top-tier Belgian law firm and a top-tier American law firm, where he gained valuable experience in their Banking and Finance and Corporate M&A departments.
