Charles’ field of legal expertise includes:

Charles help clients navigate through the complex EU State Aid , merger control and antitrust regulations. He participates in multi-jurisdictional merger control analysis, provides assistance to companies seeking to obtain state aid or wishing to complain about an illegal state aid in both substantive and procedural aspects and provides assistance to companies and associations to comply with antitrust regulation.
Charles also provides analysis and assistance on EU Law in general, with a particular focus on commercial regulations, consumer law and digital law.
Prior to joining EY Law, Charles gained experience in providing legal services to business entities in the field of European law, competition law and civil law, in particular commercial, consumer and contract laws. Charles has also experiences in commercial and civil litigation and participated in EU-wide and international projects in the pharmaceutical and energy sectors.
Charles also has experiences in managing projects at national level, having worked as president of a national French charity providing academic and cultural support to inmates, active in more than 50 cities with 1300 volunteers.
Charles graduated with merits as Master of Laws from Queen Mary University of London in 2019 and with merits as Master in Corporate Legal Advice and Business Law from the University of Poitiers in 2015.
Charles obtained the professional lawyer's certification from the Paris Bar Legal Training Center (EFB) in 2018 and is a certified lawyer.
Charles is fluent in French (native), English (full professional proficiency, C1 level) and has a basic understanding of Spanish.
