Your responsibilities & activities

We are looking for a junior regulatory, real estate and litigation lawyer to join our team composed of experienced attorneys lead by Philip Peerens. You will work on a wide range of challenging legal matters in the broad domains of administrative and real estate law and will acquire valuable experience in both advisory and litigation files.

 

As a Junior Regulatory Real Estate and Litigation Attorney you will...

  • Our team at EY Law offers the opportunity to work on a broad range of real estate matters, such as the acquisition and sale of real estate and real estate companies, structuring of rights in rem, joint ventures, leases. Since our firm also has a focus on ESG and renewable energy, you shall also have the opportunity to help develop new service offerings around this theme together with other service lines.
  • The team assists and provides pragmatic and effective advice to its clients, both private law clients and public sector entities, mainly with respect to public procurement matters, public service concessions, grant agreements, zoning and environmental law, regulatory matters and general administrative law.
  • Our team offers the opportunity to work on challenging commercial litigation matters, such as contractual disputes, commercial lease matters, claims related to construction works, but also corporate litigation matters, such as shareholders’ disputes, finance law disputes, real estate litigation, litigation in matters of public and administrative law and other business-related legal disputes.
  • EY Law has offices, in Diegem, Brussels, Antwerp and Ghent.

Your profile

  • You have obtained a Master’s Degree in Law from a Belgian University, a specialization in real estate or public law is an asset;
  • You have up to 3 years of relevant professional experience;
  • You have excellent language skills (French, Dutch and English);
  • You are a creative problem solver;
  • You are a team player, excited by the opportunity of contributing to the development of a young but fast growing practice;
  • Pursuit of academic activities (in addition to the legal profession) is an asset and supported by the firm.
